Spider Control

Mike’s Pest Control offers indoor and outdoor options for spider control. Most spiders are harmless but noticing a large spider in your home can be unsettling. A single spider could be a sign of other insects in your home and a female spider could quickly cause an infestation. One egg sack can contain a dozen to 100 eggs.

Stink Bug Coverage

Mice & Rat Removal

Mice excel in small spaces and they chew through just about any material. They use heightened senses to get around and are able to climb, jump, and even swim when necessary. They are common to the Northeast Ohio area, and we specialize in exterminating them and preventing their return. You can find them during any time of the year, but they tend to stay dormant during the colder months.

Rats are known to eat just about anything. You can typically find them eating meats, grain, and other similar food. They like to stay close to their nest while seeking out food but are often willing to travel up to 300 feet from their home.

If you feel that your home may have a mice or rat problem, contact Mike’s Pest Control right away to begin your extermination and mice removal services.

Carpenter Bees

The most common signs of carpenter bees are the perfectly round holes they bore into wood.  The most effective way to treat these to get up close and personal and dust the holes they have made. Measures to treat these bees should be taken to prevent future damage not only from the bees, but the woodpeckers attempting to get the larva of the carpenter bees.

Flea Removal

Fleas can live for about 100 days during which time the females produce 400-500 offspring. Fleas transport themselves on rodents and other mammals and usually remain on their hosts at all times.

Fleas are tiny bugs. They don’t grow much larger than the tip of a pen, and they range from light brown to almost black in color. They don’t have wings, so they get around by jumping from place to place. Their thin, flat bodies and hard shells mean you often need to squeeze them between fingernails or two hard surfaces to kill them. Even then, where there is one, many often follow.

Bed Bug Control

Mike’s Pest Control will customize a treatment for your needs, starting off with a thorough inspection and proper identification. Bed Bugs can hide behind baseboards and in cracks, crevices, and folded areas of beds, bedding and adjacent furniture, especially mattresses and box springs. Bed bugs can also hide in electrical switchplates, picture frames, wallpaper and nearly anywhere inside a home, car, bus, or other shelters. Once the bed bug feeds, then retreats back to its place of harborage for days or even weeks before coming back out. This can make detection difficult until the infestation is well established.
